Peter W. Flanagan, President & CEO
Peter Flanagan is the President and CEO of Transzap. Prior to founding Transzap in 1999 Peter founded Reflection Software (acquired by the Landmark Graphics Corporation in 1995), the developers of the SeisVision seismic interpretation system, which is now widely used by oil and gas companies around the world. Peter was also the co-founder and President of Parallel Geoscience Corporation of Austin, TX. Prior to that, he spent five years working for Amoco as a geophysicist. Peter has an M.S. degree in Geophysics from the University of Arizona.
Douglas S. Izmirian, Vice President & CFO
Doug Izmirian is Transzap's Chief Financial Officer and a co-founder of the company. In 1986 he co-founded Citadel Oil and Gas Corporation, a petroleum exploration company. Doug also spent five years as a geophysicist at Amoco. Doug is an active member of COPAS - Colorado (the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies) and has served as the president of the organization as well as on its Board of Directors. He has also served as liaison to the American Petroleum Institute's standards body, PIDX. In 2008 Doug was selected as Denver Business Journal's Small Business CFO of the Year. Doug earned his M.S. degree in Geophysics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Denver.
Anthony R. Testolini, Vice President, Sales
Tony Testolini is Transzap's Vice President of Sales and is responsible for overseeing sales activities for the company's product lines and developing strategic relationships and channel partnerships. Tony brings over 15 years of senior sales leadership experience through his work with software and IT solutions organizations. Prior to joining Transzap in 2009, he was Vice President of Sales for Solutions II, an IT consulting company, growing revenue in excess of 10x in seven years. He also served as Vice President of Sales for GeoGraphix, a Landmark Graphics Company, where revenue growth exceeded 30% (CAGR) per year during his tenure. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Patrick Fagan, Vice President, Software Development
Pat Fagan is Transzap's Vice President in charge of software development and has over 25 years experience designing and developing information systems. From 1996 through 2000, Pat was the lead technical architect for Corporate Express's B2B e-commerce site, E-way. During his tenure there the site experienced tremendous growth, climbing to $16 million in monthly revenue. Prior to that, Pat served as advisory software engineer for Auto-Trol Corporation and was the principal software engineer at Data General. He also spent six years working as a software engineer at the U.S. Department of the Interior. Pat earned a B.S. degree in Computer Management and Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver and has an M.S. degree in Information Systems from the University of Colorado, Denver.
David B. Marts, Vice President, Operations
David Marts is Transzap's Vice President of Operations and brings 25 years of IT, operations, and customer service experience to the company. Prior to joining Transzap in 2007, David was the CIO and Vice President of Information Systems at SonicAir. David has also served as the Director of Business Continuity at Catholic Health Initiatives, a large nonprofit healthcare provider, as the Director of Managed Services Operations at Mincom, an Australia-based ERP software provider, and as the Director of IT at Kennecott Energy, a producer of low-sulfur coal. He has a B.S. and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and he is ITIL Practitioner certified. David was also recently awarded ISACA's CGEIT designation for IT governance.
Jimmy L. Allison, Vice President, Product Management
Jim Allison is Transzap's Vice President of Product Management and has worked in the global energy industry for more than 25 years. Jim has extensive knowledge of the oil and gas industry and has served in a variety of management positions. Jim joined Transzap in 2001. He has a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Glenville State College, and he is an active member of COPAS - Colorado (the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies) and has served as the president of the organization as well as on its Board of Directors.
Karey L. Goebel, Vice President, Marketing
Karey Goebel is Transzap's Vice President of Marketing. She has over 20 years experience in the energy industry, including management positions in marketing, public relations, financial operations, and business development. Karey joined Transzap in 2000. Since then her focus has been on creating successful marketing and PR strategies that communicate Transzap's value to the global energy industry. Karey has a B.A. in Business Administration and additional training in Mineral Economics. She is also a member of the American Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
David J. York, Co-founder
David York co-founded Transzap, Inc in 1999. During his tenure, he led the operations and administrative missions of the company. His work included oversight of computer and network technologies, human resources management, and contract negotiation. David passed away in May, 2009. He is sincerely missed.
